I live day to day with a thankful heart.
I've been blessed with "open eyes" to look up above
The trees, the clouds, the stars , the sky
When I finally heard the name attached to my pain
I thanked the Lord Above to know it's not just in my brain
This dreadful disease called "Fibro" - I have "Myofacial" too
Has made me feel the need to hold on and not give up the fight
We truly walk alone, you know, everyday with our plight.

In my everyday world I don't know many fibromites,
so I started doing things I've been wanting to do
I started taking pictures of sunsets,
The sunrise is waiting too, but it's too early!!!

I do alot of laughing at my Fibrofog and if I drop "it" once, I'll drop "it" twice and then of course I'll drop it thrice
I laugh out loud and I don't care who sees, I just laugh at me.
Sometimes I tell them, sometimes I don't, if they catch me at my game.
I tell them laughter is the medicine that helps me ease my pain.
